Orkadia (The Caledonian Series #2) - Lisa Maree Patterson

Alix MacLeod thought the war ended when the Black Coats fell, but her mother’s disappearance through the stones has changed everything. With her brother Callum at her side, she journeys to the ancient fortress of the Mackenzies to uncover the truth about her bloodline, her magic, and the place her mother has sent her to search: Orkadia.

In a land where dragons once ruled the skies and the Auld magic stirs again, Alix must learn to control the storm that lives within her. Her brother Marcus trains in the shadowed halls of Dunscaith, discovering powers darker than he ever imagined. Each must face their inheritance—light and shadow, chaos and control, light and dark—before the stones call again.

But the realms are shifting. The fae are hiding. And the ancient prophecy of the twin moons is awakening.

Family will be tested. Magic will rise. And the Auld ones will remember.
